We are excited to have you visit our farm! Here are a few tips to make your visit more enjoyable.
Before your visit:

Please make sure you have confirmed tickets OR that you have confirmed public hours

Due to crowding, there are many weekends that we do not accept walk-ins

Always check our website (www.HickoryRunLavender.com), or call for up-to-date information regarding cancellations or inclement weather

Although we do our best to update social media sites, there may be times we are not able to update our social media sites with all details and request you please provide good contact information for us to contact you

Cancellations: We understand life happens, and kindly request you please contact us at least 24 hours prior to cancelling your visit.

Inclement Weather: We will graciously offer a rain-date if the situation arises

Please plan for the following:

Make a map of the route in advance; cell reception is spotty and certain GPS systems don’t work well

Unfortunately, NO DOGS are allowed. You may not leave a dog in the car while you visit

NO SMOKING is allowed anywhere on the premises at any time
-
Wear good walking shoes. This is a working farm with gravel and uneven surfaces
-
Wear a hat or other protection from the sun. Wear layers if it is chilly
-
Drive slowly on our gravel roads to keep the dust down
-
Keep children with you, under adult supervision, at all times!

In order to preserve the tranquil experience, NO DRONES are allowed.
Field Visit Rules:

This is Not a U-Pick Operation – Please Do Not Pick the Flowers!

For Your Safety: Do Not Walk into the Rows of Plants

You are free to walk the mowed paths AROUND the fields of lavender
-
You are free to take pictures anywhere around the lavender fields
-
Special platforms are set up to offer a view of the full field of lavender and we ask for your safety you maintain a distance of 3 feet away the edges of any elevated terrain

Picnic tables are available around the property for resting and taking in the beautiful views
-
There are two public picnic tables, first come-first serve. Please clean up your table and carry out anything (food wrappers, garbage, water bottles, coffee cups, etc.) you have brought with you

Please be respectful of visiting times, as we are a small farm with limited parking and wish for everyone to have an equal opportunity to visit, enjoy the fields, and learn about lavender
